Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Glow Cadence (Joshua Wildman d/b/a Glow Cadence, Jacksonville, Florida) collects on glowcadence.com, why, and who helps us run the site.

What we collect

Account: your email address, password (stored and handled by Google Firebase Authentication; we never see it), display name, and (optional) bio and profile picture.
Uploads and posts: music and light-show files you upload, titles, descriptions, and whether they're public.
Reports: if you report a post, the post, the reason, and your account ID.
Custom song requests: your name, email, and the song details you enter (tier, vehicle, theme, style, mood, lyrics ideas, deadline).
Purchases and subscriptions: what you bought, your plan and status, and Stripe customer/subscription IDs so we can deliver it.
Payments: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
Emails you send us.

What we don't do

We don't sell or rent your personal information.
We don't use advertising trackers or analytics tools on this site.
We don't use your uploads or requests to train AI models.

Who helps us run the site

GitHub Pages hosts the website. Like any web host, it may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security.
Google Firebase (Authentication and Cloud Firestore) stores accounts and site data. The Firebase code is loaded from Google's servers.
Stripe processes payments and subscriptions.
FormSubmit.co delivers a notification email to us with the details of each custom song request.
Porkbun forwards email sent to our @glowcadence.com addresses, and we read it in Google Gmail.

Each provider handles data under its own privacy policy. Your data may be processed in the United States.

Cookies and storage

Firebase stores a sign-in token in your browser so you stay logged in. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. Stripe may use cookies on its checkout pages for fraud prevention.

What other users can see

Your display name, bio, profile picture, and any posts you make public (after review). Your email is never shown publicly.

How long we keep data

We keep your account data until you delete your account. We keep purchase and payment records as long as needed for taxes, accounting, and legal reasons.

Your choices

You can update your display name, bio, and picture on your profile, and delete your own uploads anytime. To get a copy of your data or have your account and data deleted, email hello@glowcadence.com from your account email. We'll respond within 30 days.

Children

The site isn't for children under 13, and they may not create accounts or send requests. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Security

We use access rules so each user can only change their own data, and we limit who can see requests and reports. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

Changes

We'll post any changes here with a new effective date.
